A branch adviser goes from one meeting to the next, and their product pitch changes with every rate move. On inspection day, their training is judged on one thing only: what you can prove. Choosing an LMS for banking or an LMS for insurance means first choosing a platform that handles both constraints at once. This ranking crosses them with a third one that comparisons overlook: the shape of your network.
What an LMS must do for a banking or insurance network
An LMS for banking and insurance is a platform that tracks each adviser's mandatory training, pushes product updates quickly and gives every branch manager visibility over their team. The three requirements go together.
- Track. Every hour of mandatory continuing training must leave proof: who, what, when, for how long. Without exportable proof, the training does not exist in an inspector's eyes.
- Update. A change in rates, loan conditions or cover must reach the whole network within days, between two client meetings.
- Manage by branch. Head office wants a view by branch, region or network director. The branch manager wants theirs, and only theirs.
In banking and insurance, training that is not tracked did not happen.
Most platforms tick the first box. The gap lies in the next two, especially when part of the network is not salaried.
The 2026 ranking in one table
The six LMS selected for banking and insurance are Beedeez, Didask, e-tipi Learning, Bealink, Dokeos and CrossKnowledge. The table reflects what each vendor documents on its public website; where the information is not there, the cell says so.

|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Beedeez | LMS built for frontline teams | Certificates with expiry dates, exportable proof | Authoring tool, short formats | Multi-entity administration | Mobile app, offline, sign-in without a work email | Your network works in branches or in client meetings |
| Didask | LMS with an AI-assisted authoring tool | Tracking of obligations and deadlines, audit trail | Updates advertised as taking “a few clicks” | Partner spaces, white label | Mobile access | You design a lot of content in-house |
| e-tipi Learning | LMS focused on banks and insurers | DDA, AML-CFT, GDPR, Solvency II compliance | Not publicly documented | “Glocal” governance, multi-portal | Not publicly documented | You run a large, highly regulated network |
| Bealink | Generative L&D platform | Compliance | AI agents | Extended enterprise (customers, partners) | Not publicly documented | You also train partners and customers |
| Dokeos | General-purpose LMS | Certificates and attestations, role management | Not publicly documented | Subsidiaries and franchises use case | Not publicly documented | You want a simple compliance foundation |
| CrossKnowledge | Content catalogue and LMS | Not publicly documented | Catalogue, skills-based recommendations | Not publicly documented | Mobile | You are looking for off-the-shelf content |
The 6 platforms in detail
Each platform below suits a specific type of network, and each has a limitation. None wins everywhere.
Beedeez
Beedeez, the LMS built for frontline teams, targets branch networks and sales teams in client meetings: mobile advisers, general agents, point-of-sale staff. The mobile app works offline, and sign-in does not require a work email, which matters for a general agent who is not in your directory. Short formats and gamification serve pitch updates, multi-entity administration serves management by branch, and certificates carry an expiry date that triggers a reminder.
Best if your network spends its days with clients and has to learn a new product within days.
Limitation: Beedeez does not provide a ready-made regulatory catalogue. If you are looking for turnkey AML-CFT or DDA modules, other platforms or a training provider are better placed.
Didask
Didask is an LMS with an AI-assisted authoring tool, which documents on its finance page the tracking of obligations and deadlines, an audit trail, partner spaces and mobile access.
Best if your training team produces a lot of content itself and wants guidance in designing it.
Limitation: the website does not document an offline mode. Check real-world use for advisers who train between two meetings.
e-tipi Learning
e-tipi Learning explicitly targets banks and insurers, with a sector page that cites DDA, AML-CFT, GDPR and Solvency II compliance, and “glocal” multi-portal governance for large networks.
Best if you are a large banking network where compliance shapes the whole programme.
Limitation: mobile access and the speed of content updates are not publicly documented. Ask for them in a demo.
Bealink
Bealink presents itself as a “Generative L&D Platform” covering compliance, frontline training and the extended enterprise, with AI agents.
Best if your network includes partners or customers to train alongside your own teams.
Limitation: management by branch and exportable proof for an inspection are not detailed on the website. Check them on a real case.
Dokeos
Dokeos is a general-purpose LMS that documents certificates, attestations, role management and “regulatory compliance” and “subsidiaries and franchises” use cases.
Best if you want a simple foundation to track the obligations of a mid-sized network.
Limitation: nothing is publicly documented on mobile access or on fast updates to the sales pitch.
CrossKnowledge
CrossKnowledge is first and foremost a content catalogue, with mobile, reporting and skills-based recommendations.
Best if you are looking for off-the-shelf management and cross-functional skills content.
Limitation: regulatory traceability and multi-branch management are not publicly documented. It is not the tool for DDA proof.
International enterprise suites remain relevant for a large multi-country banking group that wants a single HR platform. And a sales coaching tool such as Mindtickle answers a different question: it rehearses a pitch, it does not track an obligation.
Which platform for which network shape?
The shape of your network decides the platform, because it decides who signs in, who follows up and what proof you must produce. To go further on the approach, read our guide to training bank and insurance advisers across a branch network.
| Network shape | Who needs training | What makes it hard | What the platform must handle | Suitable platforms |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Retail bank with salaried branches | Advisers, client managers, branch managers | Volume, turnover, AMF certification for some roles | Traceability, management by branch and region, SSO | e-tipi Learning, Beedeez, Didask |
| Insurer or mutual with branches | Branch advisers, phone advisers | 15 annual hours to prove, products that change | Hours tracking, attestations, fast updates | Beedeez, e-tipi Learning, Didask |
| Independent general agents | Agents and their staff | No group work email, agent autonomy | Access without a work email, multi-entity administration | Beedeez, Bealink |
| Brokers and appointed representatives | External partners | Outside your directory, motivation to build | Partner spaces, extended enterprise | Bealink, Didask, Beedeez |
| Temporary sales staff (trade shows, campaigns) | Temporary staff, reinforcements | A few days' notice, no prior training | Immediate mobile access, short formats | Beedeez |
Now to the point that most often settles it. A general agent is not your employee: they have no address in your directory, and they train their own staff. A platform that requires a company account leaves them out. For this case, see also how to train a network of partners and representatives. And for teams rarely in the office, our article on how to train sales reps who are always with clients completes this table.
Compliance: what the platform must prove on inspection day
On inspection day, the platform must be able to produce, for each person concerned, the list of training completed with dates, durations, formats and topics. This is what the ACPR, the French banking and insurance supervisor, expects for the continuing training of insurance distributors (note of 21 February 2019). Three obligations come up in a network.
- DDA continuing training. The duration of training or continuing professional development for insurance distributors “cannot be less than fifteen hours” a year (French Insurance Code, art. R. 512-13-1).
- AMF certification. Investment service providers must ensure that their employees holding one of the 8 key functions have a minimum knowledge base; the exam has been mandatory for all financial investment advisers since 1 January 2020 (AMF, “Professional certification” section).
- AML-CFT. Institutions must train their staff in anti-money laundering and counter-terrorist financing.
One caveat: an LMS tracks training, it certifies no one and does not replace the AMF exam. It prepares and it proves. The full table of obligations is in our guide, and our comparison explains how to track mandatory training and its deadlines.
The branch manager: relay or blind spot
The branch manager is the relay who actually gets training done, provided the platform shows them their team and only their team. Head office sees rates by region; the manager sees who has not done the module on the new home insurance policy and can follow up before Monday's meeting.
They also drive engagement. A challenge between advisers, a module shared after a difficult meeting: training circulates within the branch instead of waiting for head office.
An adviser's pitch ages with every rate change.
On Beedeez, the LMS built for frontline teams, multi-entity administration gives each manager a view of their own scope. An honest limitation: no tool replaces a manager who does not follow up. The platform saves them time, it does not give them the motivation.
What a fast rollout for temporary staff tells a sales network
Areas, the world's number 3 in concession catering, trained temporary staff recruited for the 2018 Paris Motor Show on Beedeez: 200 trained out of 300 recruited, 67% adoption, 88% completion and 95 job concepts covered. The programme was set up in 10 days, with smartphone access before starting the job.
It is not a bank, not an insurer, and not a network of branch advisers. It is a population of temporary teams, across 25 points of sale, who had to be operational within days. What the case shows is that a loosely engaged audience completes a short path when they can access it from their phone; it says nothing about sales results. The details are in the story of how Areas trained its temporary staff.
Frequently asked questions
Which LMS should you choose to train bank advisers and insurance sales agents across a branch network?
Choose according to the shape of your network, then check traceability. For branches and teams in client meetings, Beedeez, the LMS built for frontline teams, brings offline mobile access and multi-entity management. For a large, highly regulated network that wants a compliance-first approach, e-tipi Learning is an option worth considering.
Which training obligations must an LMS track in banking and insurance?
At a minimum, DDA continuing training, preparation for AMF certification for the roles concerned, and AML-CFT training. In French insurance, continuing training cannot fall below 15 hours a year (Insurance Code, art. R. 512-13-1). The LMS must produce the list per person, with dates, durations and topics.
Can an LMS replace AMF certification?
No: an LMS prepares and tracks, the exam remains the certification. The platform organises revision and keeps proof of the path completed. Certification itself goes through an exam recognised by the AMF.
How do you train general agents who are not employees?
With a platform that does not require a work email and that handles several entities. Beedeez allows sign-in without a work email and multi-entity administration: each general agency keeps its own scope, head office keeps the overall view.
How do you quickly update the sales pitch for a new product?
With short formats pushed to mobile and a follow-up from the branch manager. On Beedeez, a module built in the authoring tool goes out to the whole network, and advisers complete it between two client meetings, even without a connection.
What is the difference between a finance-specialised LMS and an enterprise suite for a bank?
A specialised LMS speaks compliance and network from the start; an enterprise suite covers the whole HR function, across several countries. The suite makes sense for a large multi-country banking group. For a branch or general agent network in France, a more targeted platform is often faster to roll out. Our general comparison of business LMS and our selection of LMS that work on mobile and offline take the comparison further.
Your move
Map your network before looking at platforms: who signs in, who follows up, what proof you must produce. The right tool almost picks itself. If your network spends its days with clients, see Beedeez in action.
