Training quickly and massively at Orchestra Prémaman: meeting the challenge of field training

The challenge

In July 2022, after 3 years without a training service, Orchestra Prémaman found itself facing a major challenge: rebuilding a field training dynamic for its employees, franchisees and its international network.

The only problem — the existing training platform is completely outdated and limited.

“Before we had no structure in terms of onboarding. Employees had to learn on the job, in store. Today, it is estimated that a newcomer is operational and autonomous in just one week.”

As soon as she arrived at the head of the training department, Élodie Couvez's mission was to find a new modern tool capable of training all field employees, quickly and effectively.

The needs were therefore simple, it was necessary to:

➡️ An easy to use authoring tool to create content quickly and easily
➡️ Varied and fun formats, which really adapt to the realities of the field

The deployment of Beedeez

The deployment of Beedeez has been gradual, with an ambitious objective of connecting 70% to 80% of employees in the first year. While adoption took time, momentum has taken hold: out of 1,200 employees, 300 were connected during the first months, and the symbolic bar of 1,000 active users was crossed in January 2024.

The mandatory training project related to the use of Alma (payment solution in several installments) was a major lever for accelerating membership. It is thanks to this initiative that the Beedeez platform was truly launched and adopted on a large scale.

Because yes: launching a training project from scratch requires time, energy — and above all, a lot of commitment over the long term.

At Orchestra Prémaman, training is more than just a formality. It allows you to grow, to provide confidence, to adapt to difficult situations but above all to evolve. It is an ally on a daily basis.

And that's why each course is designed and co-constructed with business experts (childcare, car seat, baby bed, merchandising, etc.) to allow store sellers to offer reliable and concrete expertise to their customers.

Today, training courses are created based on a need that comes from the ground, but not only that.

Beedeez was therefore the ideal choice for several reasons:

The results

The results were quickly felt. Especially in customer loyalty.

One of the main objectives of the brand was to succeed in converting as many customers as possible into members of the Club Orchestra — an annual subscription that allows access to preferential rates.

Thanks to the “Club” training module created to train and convey the right message to customers, the number of customer members has Markedly increased !

But that is not the only success of this project. Before the implementation of the onboarding process, newcomers spent an average of 15 days learning in the field, without any structure. Not easy during summer periods, when there are several recruitments...

Today, thanks to the digital course, they must follow 10 modules, which allows them to become operational and autonomous in just one week.

For Élodie, the greatest success of this project is measured by the importance of training today. It is an integral part of the company's strategy, and its role is now seen as essential, not only among learners, but also at headquarters.
