The challenge

At Melvita, a L'Occitane group brand, the training of store consultants has hitherto been based on field support provided by trainers, who physically travelled to the points of sale.

But with the gradual expansion of distribution and a growing demand for training, this model was reaching its limits. The team could no longer ensure a regular presence in all stores.

L'Occitane therefore faced a major challenge for Melvita:

➡️ To be closer to advisers and ambassadors, by sharing the right content at the right time.
➡️ Facilitate access to training, to allow them to quickly consult the latest product news.
➡️ Modernize the training experience, with interactive, fun and engaging formats that are able to maintain interest throughout the year.

The deployment of Beedeez

To support L'Occitane in the rise of the Melvita brand, we deployed a Mobile Learning solution designed for agility, commitment and proximity in the field. The objective: to reach more ambassadors and advisers, while strengthening their link with the brand.

The solution put in place makes it possible to:

✔️ Easily distribute content via a mobile application, where everyone can quickly find the information they need.
✔️ Offer a gamified and immersive training universe, designed to stimulate learner engagement.
✔️ Expand the scope of training by making content accessible to a greater number of employees, everywhere and at any time.
✔️ Maintain a constant link between trainers, ambassadors and advisers, to share the latest news in real time.

The results

The adoption of Beedeez at L'Occitane quickly generated very positive feedback, both on the user experience and on the commitment of the teams.

But beyond membership, Beedeez has made it possible to create a real community of committed testers. Thanks to the gamified universe of the solution and the animations put in place, users are now actors in their training: they participate in challenges, win products to test, and develop finer product knowledge — a direct lever for better selling in stores.

Mobile Learning, on the other hand, has made it possible to deploy training on a large scale.
Each month, new capsules are shared with ambassadors and advisers, ensuring educational continuity and a regular link with trainers. An effective way to ensure that everyone has the most up-to-date information to promote L'Occitane products to customers.
