The challenge
At Baobab Group, training has always occupied a central place in the employee career. For more than 17 years, the approach was based on a classic model: structured onboarding, followed by a few one-off sessions during the year. But this pattern was reaching its limits.
” Of course, the initial training was solid, with several weeks of skills development and field follow-up. But then, we often went to two or three days of training in the year, with little follow-up, and therefore with limited impact. ” explains Anne Delvern, Training Director at Baobab.
Beyond the lack of continuity, another major obstacle persisted: the geographical remoteness of many teams, especially in rural areas, which made access to training difficult or even impossible at some sites.
Baobab then had to respond to several key challenges:

➡️ Rethink the learning experience with a more modern, flexible and engaging format, adapted to the group's on-the-ground realities.
The deployment of Beedeez
To modernize its approach and integrate training into the daily life of its teams, Baobab initiated a strategic shift three years ago. ” It seemed obvious to us that our model needed to evolve: we wanted to offer continuous training, accessible to all, regardless of place or time, in order to reinforce the development of skills over the year. ” explains Anne Delvern.
Beedeez then emerged as the ideal solution to meet these challenges: a mobile platform, easy to deploy and designed for fluid learning, even in the most restrictive contexts.
Beedeez therefore allowed Baobab to:

✔️ Split content into short and targeted capsules, thus facilitating learning in a work situation and while on the move.
✔️ Create a regular and measurable learning dynamic, with better monitoring of impact.
✔️ Design tailor-made courses, adapted to the needs of employees, via a 100% personalized LMS platform: the Baobab Academy.
First adopted in the form of Beedeez Training, the platform quickly won over by its efficiency and agility. Building on this success, Baobab chose to go further by deploying the solution as a white label and integrating it as a unique LMS at the group level.
The results
Since the launch of the Baobab Academy, the adoption of Beedeez has generated a real learning dynamic within the group. More than 3,800 employees — or more than 95% of the workforce — have already connected to the platform and are actively following their training courses there.
But beyond the numbers, a whole new training ecosystem has been structured. Thanks to the flexibility of the platform, more than 400 educational capsules were tailor-made and then distributed on a large scale. Result: more than 60,000 consultations recorded, proof of a strong and lasting commitment.
The Baobab Academy has thus become a key lever for disseminating knowledge, maintaining a continuous increase in skills and uniting teams around a shared learning culture — where everyone, regardless of their position or location, becomes an actor in their progress.
