Fed, the first independent French specialized recruitment group, is distinguished by its unique positioning as a specialist, with expert brands and highly specialized consultants in 14 job families.
Becoming a learning company: the FED Group's approach to attracting and retaining talent
“On commercial capsules, we have an 80% engagement rate. There is real added value via these capsules because we are sure to deliver theory with gamification and challenges.”
The challenge
How do employees learn? How do they develop new skills? These are questions that the FED Group has taken the time to ask itself — and to answer them — in order to improve the training of its employees.
Halima talks about it: “We had to change our philosophy and change our approach. We offered top-down training with mandatory courses, except that it didn't work!”
The observation was clear: employees were not developing enough new skills. But the solution was just as simple: it was necessary to become a learning company where the manager would once again become the center of practice for each employee.
The deployment of Beedeez
First of all, the FED Group wanted each employee to be supported by their N+1 and that they could be inspired by their peers.
Halima explains: “We have made consulting jobs evolve into coaching consultants to supervise the learning of employees. But that was not enough! We have a fast-paced generation that wants to learn at their own pace.”
Thanks to its short, varied and gamified formats, Mobile Learning has proven to be the perfect solution for strengthening training and anchoring knowledge.
The ease of access makes the learning experience all the more impactful: “Employees can learn anytime, anytime and according to their needs. And that was also our objective!” , testifies Halima.
After the adoption of the new platform, the FED Group was also trained in digital design. We supported them in the development of the project by training collaborators in the design of online modules. Thanks to this, today there are 6 2.0 mentors, who do instructional design on operational modules.
The results
As a result of this collaboration, the FED Group became the first Beedeez client to have created a position of Learning Community Manager — a person responsible for leading the communities on the Beedeez platform and creating content.
The employees who are most active in sharing advice, content or creating capsules become true ambassadors of training. Their commitment creates a real snowball effect: the more they share, the more it inspires others to do the same.
Today, the collaboration is continuing by developing more business capsules in order to further fuel animation.
As Halima points out: “We are looking for internal ambassadors and mentors. We want to train employees in these Learning groups so that they can share tips, best practices, and even feedback.”
