The challenge

Lingua Institut used Mobile Learning to revolutionise the learners' experience in order to simplify language learning and encourage their participation in training. They needed to find a solution that would: 

• create a daily immersion in the language; 
• offer content that is both useful and entertaining;
• offer a flexible solution adapted to the learners' own time frame.

It was also necessary for the proposed solution to maximise the trainers' general experience by offering:

• the independence to be able to easily and instantly create content;
• a way to monitor learners' levels and provide them with content adapted to their needs;
• the possibility to analyse learner satisfaction.

The solution

Lingua Institut now offers its learners two new formulas:

• Blended Learning: where Mobile Learning supplements in-person sessions.
• Mobile Learning “only”: where skill enhancement is achieved exclusively via smartphone.

They chose Beedeez's technology to accomplish this and launched their white label application: Speak Dating!

Speak dating is an application that accompanies learners even outside the classroom: continuous learning for daily language immersion!

Why a mobile application? Because it is more accommodating for the learner to move away from traditional e-learning: no need to be stuck in front of a computer. They can now improve their French in small increments, on a daily basis, whenever they want to!

The result

Thanks to the user-friendly authoring tool, Lingua Institut's trainers have been able to create more than 200 training capsules that learners can access anytime, and anywhere they want.

And there is something for everyone: professional topics such as economics, business, hightech, soft skills and even recreational topics such as sports, TV shows, people, cars… plus the “Daily News”: a notification every morning! Learners are eager to click on the interesting and useful daily content, a trending topic to keep them informed of the latest news… in French!
